certificates for births that occurred in that territory.
Birth certificates are issued using the information
from the original Registration of Birth, completed at
the time of birth.
A birth certificate is a primary identification document,
which means it can be used to obtain other identification.
Birth certificates should therefore be kept in a secure
location, not in a wallet or purse.
